A Refreshing Weekend

Wandering + Snapshots. I always go on trips with a firm plan of taking a lot of photographs. And I always come home with only a handful of lame ones and wonder what happened again. I just seem to get lost in the experience every time and forget to pull out my camera / phone. I have managed to take a few, which I think capture my favorite things about the trip anyway so it’s all good. If you ever find yourself in Singapore, I recommend you check these out :)

~ What a beautiful place this is. gillmanbarracks.com ~

~ Lovely details from my lovely hotel: The Club Hotel Singapore. I’d recommend this place to anyone and everyone… even if you’re not going to Singapore heehee. Right: Sir Stamford Raffles statue with an inspiring message. ~

~ Left: An out of focus shot of this cocktail from Ku De Ta Marina Bay Sands. Trying to get tipsy while enjoying an unobstructed view of the Singapore Flyer. Right: A cute writing on the wall from the Kate Spade shop in Takashimaya, Orchard Road ~

~ Thank you Pablo… can I call you Pablo? ~

~ The Mystery of Picasso’s Creative Process: The Art of Printmaking. At Singapore Tyler Print Institute ~

~ Vintage shops along Haji Lane. This is where I met this intimidating security cat. Meow. ~

~ Me getting lost at Woods in the Books in Yong Siak Street, Tiong Bahru. Jeng I know you’re reading this, I stole this photo from your facebook page ~

~ Yong Siak Street. This is where we found that quaint bookshop, and this one too - Books Actually!  Photobomber is my friend Jeng who I miss already. x ~
