The Jahabah

Brand Identity Design. Conceptualised for The Jahabah - a mixed use development in the UNESCO heritage city of Penang, Malaysia. The silhouette of the icon is a reflected image of the letter J from Jahabah, following a central symmetry to echo the aesthetic of the traditional Chahar Bagh. The icon can also be viewed in ‘3D’ as a representation of a promenade that references the architectural character of the development. The images and colouring highlight the 4 key elements of a Chahar Bagh – Greenery, Water, Geometry, Shade. Developed in collaboration with Pomeroy Studio.
